Your Life

At the ADA, we are dedicated to nurturing your wellbeing. Our comprehensive benefits program includes tools and resources to help you maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

When life gives you challenges, we want to ensure you have access to the resources you need. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administered by Optum, provides confidential support and resources for you and your dependents at no charge. You can seek expert guidance for any issue, from everyday matters to more serious problems affecting your wellbeing.

What’s Included

The program offers crisis support, financial coaching, legal counseling, work-life services, child and elder care support, educational resources and more.

Because the program is administered through Optum, confidentiality is strictly maintained. You may contact Optum directly by calling 1-866-248-4096 to arrange for counseling and, if needed, referrals to additional resources. This benefit includes three free counseling sessions per issue, per year for face-to-face appointments, virtual visits or Talkspace messaging. Note: One week of texting under Talkspace is equal to one EAP session.

Talkspace

Talkspace is an app that allows you to message with an EAP provider, 24/7.

  • Find a provider with an online matching tool.
  • Start therapy within hours of choosing your EAP provider.
  • Message your EAP provider whenever – no appointments necessary.
  • Get messages back throughout the day, five days a week.
  • Choose real-time face-to-face video visits by appointment, when needed.

To get started, call your EAP at 1-866-248-4096 to obtain an authorization code prior to registering (first visit only), then choose a provider and start messaging.

Medicare Support – HTA

Whether you are approaching age 65, thinking about retirement or supporting someone who is on Medicare, we know that understanding Medicare and your options can be confusing and overwhelming. That’s why we’ve partnered with HTA, a Medicare advisory program that offers expert guidance to help you and your family answer questions, enroll in Medicare when appropriate and access the support you need. There is no cost to you to use this service. For more information, go to the HTA website.
